Zoe Saldana's parents Asalia And Aridio Saldana, were born 19 June 1977 in Passaic New Jersey. Her father was Dominican and her mother Puerto Rican. Her parents raised her in Queens, New York. She and her family moved from Queens, New York and to the Dominican Republic when she was 10, and lived there for seven years. Zoe was able to establish an appreciation for dance when she lived in Dominican Republic.
