Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor director, producer, playwright as well as a teacher of St. Thomas University). Anna was born in Fredericton and is the child of Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" that is originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending the rehearsals of plays as a child as well as watching her mother doing her job. Anna was a part of numerous commercials when she was a child. Anna was transferred to Toronto in the fall of 1999 in order to continue her acting career. She eventually settled down to Los Angeles (California) over the next ten years. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007 and the couple became engaged. Anna changed her religion to Judaism in January 2011 and the couple renewed their vows in the Jewish wedding ceremony in Fredericton. Bo's relationship with Lauren, played by Zoie Parker, was featured on CNN's list of the Top TV Couples that have ever existed and voted E!'s top Television Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television.
