Ky-ManiKy-mani is on the rise with the release of his untitled third album. Ky-mani Marley was born in Falmouth, Jamaica, to Robert Nesta Marley, a legend and Jamaican champion in table tennis, Anita Belnavis. East African words for Ky-mani are a reference to an adventurous traveler. As an East African man, his recordings and journeys are an adventure. His journey into music began in 1999 when he released The Journey. His unique vision led Ky-mani to discover his niche and explore the many talents he has. The year 2001 saw the release of Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated) is a "traditional" reggae album , was released , revealing a mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads, as in addition to The Journey, were well received throughout the world and established Kymani's role of the independent "artist". Ky-Mani has earned a reputation for his distinctive blend of hip-hop and R&B along with some modern jazz.
