Rubi Rose

Rubi Rose Benton was conceived in Lexington, Kentucky on October 2nd 1997. Her parents were Nardos Ghebrelul (her mother, who was an Eritrean dental surgeon from the country of immigration who was born in Ethiopia) and John Benton (her father) both of whom are lawyers of Japanese, African American, and European descent. Her father was an adoption child. There is an older sister named Scarlette and one younger sister called Coral. (2) She was baptized as an Orthodox Christian as a child. [better source needed] She spent one year in Geneva, Switzerland. She moved to Atlanta, Georgia in her senior year in high school. Brookwood High School, Snellville, Georgia was where she ran track. [3][4]She studied politics at Georgia State University. She discovered Marvin Gaye's music and music of Biggie, Prince, Michael Jackson and Chaka Khan. Megan Thee Stallion's Nicki Minaj and Nicki Cardi B are some of her influences. Rose rose to fame first as the lead actress in Migos music videos, including "Bad and Boujee" the band's hip-hop group. Around this time she began to regularly appear on a Twitch stream with Jamaican-born East Coast Hip Hop Commentator DJ Akademiks. Her music career started in September 2018 , when she released her remix of the track "On the Top" which was produced by Playboi. Her single "Big Mouth" her popularity grew in 2019 Rose was in Cardi B's music video for her hit single "WAP", on 7 August 2020. A&R Chris Turner signed her to LA Reid’s record label Hitco Entertainment in 2019. Rubi is also known for her high-profile romances. Rubi has been with Travis Scott, Ian Connor and Soulja Boy. She is currently single.
